Who am I
And what is it the defines who I am
Is it the color of my skin??
The precise thickness of my lips...
The way I say "Aight"
That determines the soul in me?
Is it my superb intellect??
The fact I know more than 1+1=2...
How it is I'm able to understand the information given to me?
Or am I judged by my emotions??
The people, places and things I have loved...
And the people who have loved me?
I do believe
That I am the final product of all the above
For this world can only see what I show them everyday
Only know my smarts by my use of complex statements that get my point across
And finally, when all is said and done
I leave behind my loved ones
The people I've seen, heard, touched
Experienced the good and bad with
That, I think, will be my ultimate gift to the world
Through the memories in the lives that I've left behind
