Poetry by Monique, Part II

Evaporated -by Monique

Dreams evaporated to the skies
Heart disenchanted, forget where love lies
Hope always lifted to the clouds up high
Fallen to the Earth from cloudy skies
Earth, my body, plentiful with fruit
Harvest and worked by your love of youth
When I am barren, you look to me no more
My love in your heart you forget to store
So, when I grow again
plentiful and ripe to the touch
No need to labor, I mean to you not much
When the rain falls and touch my very being,
Once again it's those sweet dreams I'm seeing
Evaporated....

Believe - By Monique

Burning sensation in my chest
Rise to my eyes which emits a fiery glow
I look at you with passion and intimacy
Beyond belief...

I touch your lips, as crystals flow from my eyes
Electricity runs through me
Makes my heart stutter on a beat
Which is beyond my belief...

I open my heart and pour my emotions in your ear
Every word you lone to hear
Is now presented loud and clear
Which is beyond your belief...

I sit and watch you shine, happiness and joy written on your face
You rise, you walk and kneel down at my side to whisper in my ear
"We've been soul mates from the start, you and I have never part"
And we smile, finally letting love take its true course...
Believe
