I cry a RIVER...
In the name of you...
my loved one.
Please forgive me...
my transgressions
as I try to
forget yours.
Love me like
the waters...
that if disappeared
your life
would cease.

I Am Everything - by Shawna

I am cultural diversity in a darky child.
Accept me for EVERYTHING I am.
Breathe on me and I will tell you the story of ALL my lives.
I ingest all around me because it encompasses what I am.
I am the darky who is everything.
I am everything not by mistake or not through the rape of a whole race.
I am everything because of the love of many different people who
mixed me and my mother on purpose for love and union.
I accept you for who you are, so do not scowl at part of
what makes me who I am.
I accept what you are because it is also a part of me.
I may not be a part of you
but, you are my friend. Do as my ancestors did
and let us mix in love and union.
I am typical of nothing because
I am everything wrapped in this darky child.
