Aquatic Surrender - Patrice
Ocean's wave against the moon's shine
Imagination's my sole attire,
What's next?
The rain is falling , cleansing each morsel.
Domination, tyranny, I am your subject.
A painting for all to see.
Like a cat's purr,
smooth and inviting.
Resistance, impossible.
To spread these wings and fly,
flight has now begun.
Above and beyond,
everything's below, except...
The peak of the wave,
meets the pull of the moon.
Stars surround viewing all.
Connectivity like puzzle pieces.
Not so puzzling anymore,
All is crystal clear.
The wind blows,
I kiss the sky.
A wet glow from the rain's fall,
Gleaming fire's reds, blues and yellows.
Healing capabilities,
Nurturing in nature.
The ocean's wave meets the moon's shine,
At a place I've soared to see
and dream to feel again.
The Truth Told by the Fire
The fire kindled as our gazes locked.
A stare.
Energy that flowed from my depths,
To the pupils of my eyes.
So strong.
You look away.
What should I do, how do I explain?
You must be mine.
I look to the heavens, the stars,
Give me an answer.
The heart never lies.
I am the home that contains all your wants.
Whatever you require in your heart lies here.
Your innermost longings and needs.
Afraid to take that chance,
Still you block me out.
I cry.
A storm of tears, my energy depleted.
How could this be?
Vibes unreal, feelings like never before.
Convergence of souls.
Will you ever embrace, this beautiful reality?
Destiny, fate, true love forevermore.
For once, I find the igniter of my flame.
Passions,
Yearning for you.
You deny the glare to extinguish my heart.
My flame can never die.
I'll let you go, unlock my gaze,
If this is what you really desire.
But I'll never forget, I'll always know,
The truth of the kindled fire.
